Polish Post are to issue a new set of stamps on 29 September entitled "Polish Alphabet". 13 stamps will make up the issue, each featuring a letter from the first half of the alphabet, with the remaining letters appearing on another 13 stamps due to be released on 7 November. New Polish stamp to be issued
Poland continue their series celebrating the country's cities by issuing a new stamp on 24 April to honor the southern city of Czestochowa. The stamp has been designed by Maria Dziekanska and has a face value of LN 2.40. A first day cover will also be made available.

Poland Post issue a new stamp on 24 November to mark the 200th anniversary of the Polish Association of Doctors. A first day cover will also be made available to mark the occasion.
